We had some heavy rain and wind come through last week, and I’ll admit I was watching to see how the birdfy would handle it. I’m a bit picky about stuff like this because I expect outdoor gear to actually hold up outside. So far, it’s passed my standard, no leaks, no foggy camera, and it’s still working just fine. Happy with it at this point...

I was surprised by how good the night vision is on my Birdfy camera. Like I said, I didn’t expect much once it got fully dark outside, but I can still see the birds and even the little details really clearly. The picture doesn’t look weird or super blurry like some other cameras I’ve tried. Setup was easy too, but like I said, the night view is definitely the part I like the most

The image quality surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be this clear, but the birds show up nice and sharp, and the colors still look good even when it’s cloudy out. The night shots are decent too. It makes it a lot easier to spot the little details without having to guess what kind of bird I’m looking at

Not gonna lie, I’m happy with this so far. The subscription doesn’t feel crazy expensive, and there’s plenty of storage for all my clips. I’m glad I don’t have to keep deleting bird videos every day just to make room.

I’ve been using the Birdfy app for a few weeks now, and compared to a couple of other smart device apps I’ve tried, this one feels a lot more straightforward. Setup was quick, the videos usually load without any trouble, and I like that I can check who stopped by the feeder without having to tap through a bunch of menus. The notifications have been good too, helpful but not constantly annoying. Overall, it’s a nice app and does exactly what I need it to do.

I left this out all winter through rain, cold, and even a few squirrels messing around with it, and it still looks totally fine. felt like a small win not having to replace it this spring.

When I first tried setting up my birdfy feeder, I ran into an issue and couldn’t get it working. I emailed support that afternoon, expecting to wait a while, but they got back to me much quicker than I thought. Their reply actually felt helpful too, not like a generic copy-and-paste response. After a bit of back and forth, I had it working later that same day. Overall, I’m really happy with how they handled it

I’ve been happy with how the video loads because it starts up fast without making me sit there waiting, which is one of the main things I notice right away. It also stays steady the whole time, so I’m not dealing with random buffering, freezing, or the video suddenly dropping out in the middle of watching. Every time I’ve used it, it’s been consistent, and that makes the whole experience feel a lot smoother and less annoying.

The product itself was fine and worked as expected, but the packaging looked kinda rough when it arrived. Not a huge deal, but it definitely could’ve been packed a bit better.

Got this as a gift and overall it’s nice. The setup was a little annoying, though, not terrible, just more fiddly than I expected. Maybe it’s one of those things that works better if you already know the system, but I swear it felt like they made the instructions vague on purpose. Once it was finally set up, it was fine

I ordered my Birdfy and it actually arrived way sooner than I expected. The tracking was easy to follow too, so I always knew where it was. no complaints from me.

I bought this because squirrels were basically claiming my old feeder as their own. So far, this one has held up really well. They tried messing with it a few times, but eventually gave up, and the birds are still using it every day. I’m happy with it, though considering the hassle I had before, I’d definitely appreciate some kind of compensation or discount from the company if anything changes.

I bought a Birdfy feeder and ended up needing to contact them about a warranty issue. To be fair, they did get back to me and literally helped me sort it out in the end, which I appreciated. The return process was just a bit confusing, and it took longer than I was hoping. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely wasn’t super smooth either. I’d say it’s fine overall if you’re okay with waiting a little

The camera itself is nice when it’s actually doing what it’s supposed to do, but wow, the notifications are kind of all over the place. I’ll get alerts for a shadow moving or a branch swaying, and then of course when there’s actually a bird there, sometimes nothing. Like, thanks, that was the whole point. It gets annoying really fast because you start ignoring the alerts, but then you worry you’re missing the real stuff. For what this costs, I expected the detection to be a lot more accurate...

It took me a bit to get it working, but once I followed my gut and tried a few things, it finally clicked. Overall, not too bad

It does catch birds here and there, so I’ll give it that. But it also seems to miss some visits, which is frustrating. On top of that, wind and shadows set it off way too often for my liking. It’s not awful, but it definitely could be more reliable.

I really like the idea of this feeder, and when it’s working properly, the videos are fun to watch. It gives me a nice little peek at what’s going on when I’m not right there. That said, the Wi-Fi connection has been a bit more frustrating than I expected, especially since it’s not even that far from my router. Setup also wasn’t totally smooth and took me a few attempts to get everything going. Overall, I’d say it’s a decent feeder and I don’t regret getting it, but in my experience, it would be a lot better if the connection stayed more reliable.

I was surprised by how long this lasts before needing a refill. I kept checking it out of habit, but it just kept going for days. Weirdly, I remember noticing it was still running while I was making toast at like 6 in the morning, and I thought, okay, that’s actually impressive.
